Introduction to the autopatcher and autoupdater
The autopatcher is a dynamic and universal patcher that ensures that your bots are always up to date. The autopatcher supports all of our electron bots and automatically patches them for both Windows and MacOS. This will make it easier for users to install most of AIOWorld bots while having the opportunity to update them quickly - actually instantly.
A version selector for all of our electron bots has been implemented in the patcher, which means that you're able to choose which version of any bot you want to use. If a bot is updating right before a release and the update isn't working, you can now downgrade the version within seconds by simply running the patcher.
We’ve also developed an autoupdater within the autopatcher. This autoupdater is a dynamic, stable and automatic serverside script to update all of our Electron Bots as soon as an update is available. This means that all of our Electron bots will search for a new version and push it instantly. This ensures that you always have the latest version of your favorite bots.
1. Start of by downloading the patcher from here: Windows Download: MacOS Download:
2. Open the universal patcher.
3. Your command window should now show you the following layout:
4. Now pick a bot to install by typing in the number assigned to the specific bot. Example: installing NSB would be number 12. Therefore you should type 12 and click enter:
6. The patcher will now automatically install NSB to the correct location, and will then ask you which version you want to install. Enter the number assigned to your preffered version and click enter to continue. (If the patcher tells you to manually install the bot before running the patcher, then you have to manually download the original bot before running the patcher. Download links can be found in the discord server, or in the specific bot installation page in the guide.)
7. Wait for the patcher to complete, and open the bot when it has finished. Now enter your license key and login to the bot.
8. To update a bot, simply re-run the patcher and choose the latest version of the bot. TIP: You can simply check if an update is available in the specific discord update-channel for each bot.
FAQ:
If the provided guide was not detailed enough for you or if you just ran into some unexpected problems, feel free to continue reading this FAQ, where some of your problems might be answered.
Q: Why do I get a message reminiscent of this when running the autopatcher?
A: To stop this from happening, you must open your terminal and type the following:
sudo spctl --master-disable
After typing this command you’ll have to type the password for your computer, type password (even if it doesn't show password its still typing), lastly press enter.
This fixes the damaged file and should let you run the autopatcher.
Q: Help! I get “PermissionDenied” when running the autopatcher, how do I fix this?
A: For Windows users simply right click on the autopatcher and press run as administrator.
For Mac users open terminal, type sudo (remember space after sudo), drag patcher into terminal, press enter, type password (even if it doesn't show password it is still typing), lastly press enter.
5. The patcher now asks for your license key. Go to and login to the dashboard and click the "License Manager"-tab, to find the specific license key for your NSB and insert it in the patcher. Now click enter. (Make sure to use the COPY button on the dashboard when copying the key, since the full key is not shown)
